For the first time in history, Zhuhai Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and in particular Hengqin New Town Government has enacted a regulation whereby Hong Kong landscape architectural practices and Registered Landscape Architects are able to register to practice in Hengqin. This is brought about through active collaboration between Development Bureau, Hengqin government, and the professional institutes including HKILA.
