PDLA Program (Apply By 17 June 2024)

Postgraduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture (PDLA) the Division of Landscape Architecture (DLA) of the University of Hong Kong is currently open for applications, with a deadline of 17 June. Here is some information:
PDLA Program:
The Postgraduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture (PDLA) is a one-year curriculum that introduces the foundational skills, theories, and concepts of landscape architecture to students without previous training in the environmental design fields. The PDLA is intended as a preparatory degree that leads graduates towards more advanced studies in the field such as the MLA program at HKU or other overseas postgraduate landscape programs. We welcome applicants who have earned a bachelor’s degree in any field and who are highly-motivated, critical thinkers with a passion for improving our natural, built and social environments.
Program highlights:
The PDLA curriculum is organized around a sequence of design studios introducing the tools and methodologies of landscape design within a highly-personalized, one-on-one learning environment drawing especially on both international and regional case studies. Complementing this foundation are lectures and seminars covering history and theory, visual communication and landscape technology that help to expand and contextualize design knowledge.
