HKU Career Discovery in Landscape Architecture
Every year, the Division of Landscape Architecture of the University of Hong Kong offers the summer program Career Discovery in Landscape Architecture (CDLA). During two weeks, secondary school students learn and develop skills around the landscape architecture discipline.

Course Objectives :
Catering to a growing and emerging interest in the key role of ecology and human-nature interaction along the built environment, this summer program aims to introduce how ecological components can be implemented in landscape design strategies.
This summer program offers the following learning experiences: (1) Studio teaching basic design training (such as drawing, representation and modelling) and key concepts of landscape processes and components (2) workshops about planting, soil, design installation, portfolio-making and (3) field trips to landscape projects and design offices and institutions in Hong Kong.
Eligibility:
Secondary school students (preferably from 4 and 5)
First year undergraduates from other university programs (but not Architecture or Landscape) who are interested in Landscape architecture.
Tuition fee: $11,800 + registration fee HKD 350
