The HKILA Professional Practice Examination (PPE) 2024 is now open for registration. Please note that registration for re-taking the oral examination (i.e. for candidates failed in the oral examination in previous PPE with exemption given by the BoE from repeating the written examination) is required. The written examination of PPE 2024 is tentatively scheduled on 30 November 2024.
If you have registered as a HKILA Associate Member before 15 September 2022 and comply with the other pre-requisite requirements stated in the PPE Rules and Regulations, you are eligible to apply for the PPE 2024.

A. For registration for re-taking the written examination, applicants are required to attach the eligibility notification for written examination issued in PPE 2023, and submit the Practical Training Record for the period September 2023 to September 2024 only.
B. For registration for re-taking the oral examination, applicants are required to attach the exemption notification for written examination issued in PPE 2023, and submit the Practical Training Record for the period September 2023 to September 2024 only.

Registration by email should be made by submitting the registration package in ONE SINGLE PDF file. The registration package (including the Registration Form, payment record of Registration and Examination Fees and Practical Training Record) shall be emailed to secretary1@hkila.com. Separate files submission will NOT be accepted.
Payment for registration and examination could be made by PayMe or PayPal. Remarks of payment shall be in format [Name + membership no. (PPE)]. Submitting screen capture of payment record together with the registration package is suggested for our ease of verification.
Alternatively, and similar to past practice, the registration package (including the Registration Form, Registration and Examination Fees, and Practical Training Record) could be submitted to the Institute by mail (West Wing 2/F, 822 Lai Chi Kok Road, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon, Hong Kong).
The application date will be open: 1st August 2024
The application deadline will be closed: 17th September 2024 (Before 5:30pm)
Since the prime mode of future communication with applicants would be by email, all applicants are required to provide their email addresses.
Refund policy:
Candidate is responsible to ensure that they fulfilled all the criteria for PPE application. There is no refund if HKILA find out the candidate is non-eligible after checking. Refunds will not be issued in any circumstances.
