Professional Practice Examination (PPE) 2021 is now open for registration
The HKILA Professional Practice Examination (PPE) 2021 is now open for registration. Please note that registration for re-taking the oral examination (i.e. for candidates failed in the oral examination in previous PPE with exemption given by the BoE from repeating the written examination) is required. The written examination of PPE 2021 is tentatively scheduled at the end of November / early December 2021.
The following documents are attached for your preparation and submission for registration.
1. Professional Practice Examination – Rules and Regulations;
2. Examination Information Sheet;
3. Examination Registration Form;
4. Practical Training Record (Annex A1 -A3 and Guidance Notes);
5. Suggested Reference List; and
6. Submission Requirements of Practical Experience Presentation.
For applicants registered for re-taking the written examination, you are required to attach the eligibility notification for written examination issued in PPE 2020, and only required to submit the Practical Training Record for the period September 2020 to September 2021.
For applicants registered for re-taking the oral examination, you are required to attach the exemption notification for written examination issued in PPE 2020, and only required to submit the Practical Training Record for the period September 2020 to September 2021.

Registration by email could be made by submitting softcopy (in pdf format) of the registration package (including the Registration Form, payment record of Registration and Examination Fees, and Practical Training Record) to secretary1@hkila.com. Payment for registration and examination could be made by account transfer to: The HK & Shanghai Banking Corporation (bank code: 004 & account no. 033-211459-838). Copy of proof of payment (pay-in slip or transfer record with applicant’s name and membership number written on it) shall be submitted together with the registration package.
Alternatively and similar to past practice, the registration package (including the Registration Form, Registration and Examination Fees, and Practical Training Record) could be submitted to the Institute by mail (P.O. Box 90550 Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong).
The application deadline is 30th September 2021.
Since the prime mode of future communication with applicants would be by email, all applicants are required to provide their email addresses.
