Synopsis: Trees are valuable assets that provide multiple benefits to the urban environment. Quality tree management practices are important in maintaining the standard of our living environment while safeguarding public safety. With the new Practice Note “LAO PN 6/2023” stipulated by the Lands Department as one of the Development Bureau’s streamlining measures, the objective of this seminar is to raise the awareness on the updated procedures and proper practices regarding tree preservation, maintenance and management in private land.
