香港園境師學會舉辦的米埔自然保護區導賞
香港園境師學會舉辦的米埔自然保護區導賞於2023年10月14日（星期六）完滿結束。是次活動有幸邀請到世界自然基金會WWF為大家介紹WWF的濕地規劃和保育政策與及米埔自然保護區對生態、生物多樣性和濕地環境保護的工作。米埔自然保護區蔡詠嶠先生（經理-濕地生境）和李章遠先生（高級項目主任-智慧濕地）帶大家參觀箕圍和鳥屋以便了解濕地保育政策及園區的動植物。參加者反應熱烈，獲益良多。香港園境師學會積極舉辦更多以生態導賞活動，期望各位再次踴躍參與。
The guided tour of Mai Po Nature Reserve organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects concluded successfully on 14 October, 2023 (Saturday). We are honored to invite the World Wildlife Fund WWF to this event to introduce WWF’s wetland planning and conservation policies and Mai Po Nature Reserve’s work on ecology, biodiversity and wetland protection. Mr Caleb Choi (manager of wetland habitat), and Mr Edward Lee, (senior project officer of smart wetland) took everyone to visit Gei Wei and the bird houses to better understand the wetland conservation policy and the flora and fauna of the park. Participants responded actively and benefited a lot. With the positive response, HKILA would organize more ecological guided tours in the future and we look forward to seeing you in our coming events.
