Wonder and Discovery: Celebrating Nature-based Early Childhood Education
Nature-based learning is a growing phenomenon. Research shows that children who regularly play in a natural environment grow up healthy, happy and smart; therefore, contact with nature should be encouraged from an early age.
One of the keynote speakers Ms. Jena JAUCHIUS, Landscape Architect (PLA, US) has over 20 years’ experience in designing nature-based play, learning, and therapeutic environments for children, particularly those with autism, sensory processing challenges, and ADHD. Ms. Jauchius will share her experience about designing a sense park for children with special needs.
