GBA Urban Design Awards Webinar Series (3) & Series (4):
Retrospect and prospect: Elements of healthy city & Less is more?
In the past three years, Covid-19 outbreaks have reminded us of the importance of healthy cities. Some award projects of the 2020 GBA Urban Design Award have provided us inspirations on how to achieve a healthy city. HKIUD has invited three award winners to be keynote speakers in this Webinar to share with us their aspirations and explore other important elements of healthy city together with the respondent speakers.
The series consist of four 2 hours webinars with speakers from previous 2020 GBA Design Award Winning Projects, professionals and experts in the industry, Covering the topics of:
• Insights for Northern Metropolis of Hong Kong,
• Reinvigorating brownfields site and abandoned agricultural land,
• Elements of healthy city etc., and
• Less is more.
The third webinar has been launched on 20 Oct (Thur), and is registration is still welcome.

Urban design projects are not always mega-projects covering a huge area. Very often, small scale projects could also have a significant contribution to the urban environment. We have invited the winners of the 2020 GBA Urban Design Award in the category of Urban Intervention to share with us their experience.
