Garden Design under the Bridge Public Consultation Workshop
Since its opening in May 2015, Phase 2 of Kwun Tong Promenade has become a popular open space for the public. The sensory garden next to the children’s playground under Hoi Bun Road and Kwun Tong Bypass has been aging after serving the public for more than six years. Therefore, the Development Bureau initiated the Kowloon East Office and the Hong Kong Institute of Architects to plan a design competition to collect creative ideas, give a new image to the sensory garden, and continue to serve the public with a better new face.
In order to better meet the needs of all levels of the community, the organizers are now collecting public opinions on the transformation of the sensory garden in the form of workshops and questionnaire consultations, which will be used as a reference for the design competition. You are welcome to attend the following workshops to learn about the sensory garden renovation design competition and express your opinions.
