This seminar brings together a medical doctor and an urban planner, ‘a doctor for the city’, to share their experiences in shaping healthy neighbourhoods. According to WHO, health is a fundamental human right and for a long time, physicians realise that the besides individual behaviour, one’s social relationships, the physical environment and economic status are the social determinants of health. In this seminar, the two types of ‘docors’ will explore key factors shaping healthy neighbourhoods in Hong Kong.
