Project Description:
Diamond Hill Water Feature Park serves as a prototype where heritage, memory, and ecology converge in daily life. It forms the recreational heart of the Diamond Hill CDA, a site cleared of squatter settlements in the 1990s and partly allocated to MTRCL for the Shatin–Central Link construction. Beyond offering lush greenery to soften the impact of surrounding infrastructure, the design centers on a stream from the revitalized Kai Tak River. This feature seamlessly connects playgrounds and integrates the relocated Three ‘Treasures of Tai Hom’ historical structures, making them accessible for public appreciation.
