| The annual large-scale public campaign, Hong Kong Green Building Week (HKGBW), is here again! Co-organised by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), this year’s HKGBW has the theme “Move Forward with Green Building. Next Station: Carbon Neutrality.” Using the idea of a “Green Building Express”, this powerful new theme aims to inspire the public to delve into the realm of innovative green building technologies and foster a deeper appreciation for local green buildings. By embracing knowledge of green building, we can all unite in our collective efforts as we journey to the next station: carbon neutrality.
一年一度的大型綠色建築公眾活動「香港綠色建築週2024」又來了﹗由建造業議會及香港綠色建築議會合辦的「香港綠色建築週2024」今年以「綠建前行，下一站碳中和！」為主題，透過「綠建列車」的概念帶領公眾遊走港九新界，探索創新綠色建築科技及欣賞本地綠色建築，從而認識其重要性和好處，攜手邁向下一站：碳中和。
The diverse and rich programmes of HKGBW 2024 include the Biz-Green Dress Day, Green Building Exploration Fair, Green Transport X Building Tour, and Green Building Guided Tour. 今屆「輕．型」上班日將於2024年9 月5日（星期四）舉行，旨在推廣輕便、有型又專業的上班裝束，同時將環保和減碳意識融入日常工作環境之中。 How to be Biz-Green? 4-Colour Biz-Green Outfits Social Media Challenge Join the challenge NOW and make a significant impact in driving behavioural change! As part of the Biz-Green Dress Day 2024, we welcome companies and organisations to participate in the “4-Colour Biz-Green Outfits Social Media Challenge” from 22 Aug to 5 Sep to showcase on social media their 4-Colour Biz-Green outfits, promote workplace comfort and reduce air-conditioning energy consumption. 立即參與挑戰，領頭推動行為改變！主辦機構誠邀各企業和機構於8月22日至9月5日期間參加「輕．型」四色穿搭挑戰，在社交媒體上分享以「輕．型」四色為主題著裝上班，在提高舒適度的同時減少冷氣能耗，一起從日常生活中減碳！ The “Biz-Green Style Award”, “Most Popular Award” and “Most Engaged Award” are all up for grabs to recognise outstanding companies and organisations. Curated to encourage the public to develop a thorough understanding of the Building Life Cycle, from planning and construction to operation and retrofitting, this fascinating event will promote innovative green building materials and technologies, as well as the importance and benefits of green building through activities like Interactive Booths, Expert Talks, and Green Workshops. 《綠建前行探索展》將於9月21至22日（星期六及日）在奧海城2期地下活動大堂舉行。活動旨在讓公眾透過互動攤位遊戲及展覽、專才知識分享、創意綠色手作坊等活動，認識綠色建築如何從規劃、建造、營運甚至節能改造的建築週期中應用減碳技術，從而了解創新綠色建築材料和科技，並學習綠色建築的重要性及好處。 The Green Building Exploration Fair and Green Workshops are now open for registration. The Green Transport X Building Tour will also be held from 21 Sep to 22 Sep (Sat and Sun). Participants can take low-carbon and environmentally friendly transportation to learn about the featured green buildings along the way. The ten featured green buildings (in their order along the route) are: Bohemian House, Central Market, Hang Seng Bank Headquarters Building, Landmark, Prince’s Building, Bank of China Tower, The Henderson, Pacific Place, Sun Hung Kai Centre, and Hysan Place. 《綠建低碳遊》將於9月21至22日（星期六及日）舉行，參加者可以乘坐低碳環保交通工具漫遊港島區，認識沿途介紹的十座綠色建築 （按路線順序）包括：瑧璈、中環街市、恒生銀行總行大廈、置地廣塲、太子大廈、中銀大廈、The Henderson、太古廣場、新鴻基中心及希慎廣場。 *For details and event terms & conditions, please refer to the registration link. An informative series of Green Building Guided Tour will be held from 28 Sep to 29 Sep (Sat and Sun). The programme offers four different routes, allowing participants to delve into a diverse array of green building features as well as enjoy green workshops, with the aim of enhancing the public’s awareness of green building. 《綠建「識」玩團》將於9月28至29日（星期六及日）舉行，設有四條不同路線，讓參加者深入了解建築物內的各種綠建設計元素，並透過當中的綠建工作坊，從而提高大眾對綠色建築的興趣和認知。
