Introduction:
To effectively manage and assess risk and benefits in play spaces, Anne Marden Playright Academy (AMPA) has invited Mr. David Yealy, the Head of Play Safety at The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), to develop a workshop. Upcoming workshop will introduce the concept from “Managing Risk in Play Provision: Implementation Guide” and provide guidance to play providers on how to develop their own risk-benefit assessment practices with essential concepts and techniques.
This workshop aims to empower play providers to make informed decisions regarding risk and hazards while ensuring the safety and well-being of children in play spaces.
